Thank you all for coming. It was great fun. (Especially, finding the projector :)). Check out the pictures on our Gallery page. (Or you can look up the event on Facebook - search for GameCamp #1 under events).
Sorry for the late post. We have been out for most of the holidays. But now are back, getting ready for GameCamp Toronto 2. We aim to host the next event sometime in March (depending on how many presenters we have by then. So far we have 3.) Please contact us if you would like to present.

GameCamp Toronto is an event which intends to replicate the successful formula of DemoCamp in the realm of game development. The main goal of the event is to grow the community of our city into a large, healthy and successful industry.
In that respect GameCamp aims to be composed of three parts:
- GameTechnical. In the technical section, various technologies will be demoed. The aim of this section is to introduce people to various game development tools available to them. We need to grow our ranks and teaching others is the best way of doing it.
- GameDemo. In this section, presenters will have the opportunity to show off the games on which they are currently working. This is a great way of introducing people to opportunities available in Toronto, and thus prevent the talent from leaving our city.
- GamePlaying. In this section, people will be encouraged to play some games, and network with each other. We need to remember why we make games after all, right!?
Benefits
Between numerous other things, attendees will have the opportunity to learn various development technologies, network with the other enthusiastic people and have some fun. Presenters will get an opportunity to practice their pitches, share their knowledge with others and recruit young talent.
